Scope and Contents
Correspondence and documents dealing with the administration of the hospital. Topics included are the teaching of medical students in the hospital, the problem of infectious disease cases, development of new departments, provision against air raid attacks, and the provision of Christmas trees and entertainments for the patients.
Administrative matters directly concerned with patients (tonsil cases, etc) and staff (salaries) are found in LHB5/35 and LHB5/37. Only the more interesting topics are mentioned in the following lists.
Nearly all the letters are addressed to Messrs Henry Scott, Honorary Secretaries to the hospital.
