Case Books, 1866-1915

The volumes are for both males and females and each one is indexed. Each entry gives the patient’s name, date of admission, initial diagnosis and progress and are cross referred to the registers at LHB47/1/1. The volumes are pre-printed from Vol.5.

The volumes contained enclosures which have been housed separately according to the page number they relate to. Where there are enclosures for a case, the letters “Encl” have been pencilled at the top corner of the relevant page. The enclosures should be requested at the same time as the volume. It should be noted though that the enclosures do not necessarily relate to the case on the page.
