Scope and Contents

MS LEC 1: Lectures on various books of the Old Testament recorded in a 17th century hand. Books covered are Genesis, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, I and II Samuel, Job, Psalms, and 12 minor prophets. Notes on Job dated May 13, 1688. Bound in leather and covers are blind stamped with the initials 'A C'. 'Agnes Campbell' inscribed on a fly leaf. Church of Scotland stamp on fly leaf and on last page verso.

MS LEC 2: Manuscript volume titled, 'Notes of examinations and Lectures in Theology and the History of the Church by Drs Chalmers & Welch [sic], during Sessions 1830-31 and 1831-32 in the University of Edinburgh. Vol. II'. Also contains notes from lectures of Hugh Meiklejohn.

MS LEC 3: Notebook containing notes from lecture on the Gospel of Mark (1724), notes on catechetical doctrine (Sept 30 1728-Dec 11 1729), and sermons (Jan 5, 1730 - March 29, 1733). Some notations in shorthand, with key in the back of the volume. From General Assembly Library.
