Certification Papers, 1917-1958
These are arranged in bundles by certification number. The certificate is in the form of a petition to the Sheriff to allow the admission of a patient, gives extensive patient details and two medical certificates.
Daily Registers, 1914-1954
Each register contains a daily statistical return giving the numbers of private, voluntary and pauper residents; their ability to work (including factors such as whether they are too ill, refusing to work etc); and the occupations of the pauper patients. Each day also has a blank page for a supplementary record and diary of occurrences.
EEG Day Book, 1953-1958
Gives the EEG number, the patient’s name, age, doctor referring, reason for referral and features of special interest. Includes statistics on totals at rear.
