"Ramla", the First to Finish Long Distance Test, 1870s-1930s

Scope and Contents Photograph from The Journal of Heredity of "Ramla", a pure Arab mare that was first to finish a long distance test in 1919. She completed the 300 mile test from Ethan Allen, Vermont to Camp Devens, Massachusetts in 57 hours and 26 1/2 minutes and received a perfect condition mark of 92.9% for total performance.
