Content Description This is a photograph album of Sheena Lillian Grant Tennant Kendall (1883-1974), composer and daughter of wealthy Scottish industrialist James Tennant. Kendall is well identified in the album, which documents a period of residence in Japan (1919-24), as well as travels in Egypt, Burma, Ceylon, Malaysia and Shanghai, and their life at Scottish and English country estates. Content Description Two albums containing black and white photographs of landscapes in a variety of locations, as well as portraits and street scenes, each with accompanying text.
