On the criminal conviction and sentence on charges of sodomy and assault of Canaan Banana, former persident of Zimbabwe. The prosecution held that his sexual relations were coercive and non-consensual, but displayed prejudice in citing homesexuality as a psychiatric disorder. This in a country where the current president refers to homosexuals as "lower than dogs".
