Unidentified waste ground, c 1985
See Coll-1167/B/27/7/8. The slope suggests that this photograph gives a different view of the same site - otherwise unidentifiable. A print from the corresponding glass plate negative was included in the "Open Spaces as Gardens and Playgrounds" section of Geddes' replacement "Cities and Town Planning Exibition". The site of the tenement on the left was occupied by the University Pharmacology Building from 1968 (1998). Handwritten title by R. Dykes. Some are marked and are therefore copyright of W. Reid; Balmain Photographers, Edinburgh; and The Scotsman - some of these may belong in Coll-1167/C/2
