A series of a random selection of prints, many appear to be duplicate copies of other images, relating to Edinburgh, Scotland and elsewhere which were added to the teaching collection at the Outlook Tower at some point after Patrick Geddes' death and before 1990. Some are marked and are therefore copyright of W. Reid; Balmain Photographers, Edinburgh; and The Scotsman - some of these may belong in Coll-1167/C/2

For King's Rod read King's Stables Road. Handwritten title on the original envelope containing the corresponding glass plate negatives was written by R. Dykes. A print from the corresponding glass plate negative was included in the "Open Spaces as Gardens and Playgrounds" section of Geddes' replacement "Cities and Town Planning Exibition". Scope and Contents This street still leads, at right angles, from Nicolson Street to the Pleasance. Richmond Lane runs north west from the Fork, corsses West Richmond Street and becomes Richmond Place (which leads through Roxburgh Place to Drummond Street). The whole area has been almost wholly rebuilt since clearnce began about 1930. Handwritten title by Alasdair Geddes.
