Henderons was one of the principal members of the committee which drew up the National Covenant (1638) which marks the beginning of the democratic form of government of the Presbyterian Church of Scotland. 2. A portrait of Archibald Campbell Marquis of Argyle (1598-1661) created from an original portrait in the collection of His Grace the Duke of Argyll at Inveraray.
