The sketch shows three concentric circles marked as ' Wall', 'Passage' and 'Wall', with their measurements noted. The circles are on a rounded oblong described as a 'Raised platform outside built of stones'. A compass is marked on the sketch showing that the oblong runs north to south. A note written on what would be the west side of the dùn reads 'West Oscean (sic) not in sight - Rising hill between....

Sketches and notes on 'Clach a Fhradraic on Beinne-na Sibhinn close to Loch Slitir on Tolastadh fo Thua' [Beinn Àirigh na Sibhinn/Beinn Airigh na Sivin, Tolstadh Bho Thuath, Eilean Leòdhais/Isle of Lewis]. The sketches show the rock from east north east and west south west and gives measurements of each side. It is described as gneiss resting on a 'flatish rock', and capable of moving about an inch at each end, and ship like. Some of the text is illegible.

Song beginning 'Chi mi Caibeal Dhiar[maid], Na chreag iasg' [Donnchadh Mac Cuilcein/Duncan Mac Cuilcein] collected from Barbara MacPhi [Barbara MacPhie] aged 73, Dreumsdale [Dreumasdal/Drimsdale, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist]. The song is composed of twenty lines and is interrupted with a note on where 'Teisteamul nan gauna' [Teistamul nan Gamhna] is. The text has been scored through as if transcribed elsewhere.

Story about a red horse set around Maruig [Màraig, Na Hearadh/Isle of Harris] and accompanying saying about Beinn Eadar which reads ''S fhada bhuam fhi[n] bonn Beinn eadar, Shada bhuam fhi[n] Beal a ghormail'. A note states that Beinn Eadar is now An Cliseam [An Cliseam/Clisham, Na Hearadh/Isle of Harris] and that Beal[ach] a Ghormail is east of the foot of An Cliseam near Maruig.
