"To Encourage Humane Killing of Bacon Pigs and to Avoid Particiation in Cruelty", was a pamphlet published by the Royal Soceity for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The pamphlet contains chapters on the topic of pigs in slaughter houses, including, Why pigs have particular claim, suggestions to enable persons to obtain the products of pigs which have been humanely slaughtered, and a list of bacon curing firms who use the humane killer.
