This is a bound typescript of "The Wallace", a theatre play written by Sydney Goodsir Smith. The present copy is copy no. 1 and is dated 24 June 1959; it was presented by Sydney Goodsir Smith to his father. It is inscribed in the hand of the publisher: "Sir Sydney Goodsir Smith with the Compliments of S. G. Smith, R.L.C. Lorimer & Oliver Boyd Ltd."
