"This man is alcoholic, spends every penny on it. Nasty when fu'. He used to be a groom is now an odd job man, a wonderful workman. Always scrupulously clean and tidy. Was in the Boer War, has travelled all over the world, once very badly frost-bitten. Steals a bit. Lives in the model lodging house."

Scope and Contents "Diagnosis: Anxiety state. Perfectly well until 3 months ago when he go flu and while in bed present troubles began. Complains of feeling shaky - feels a rumbling in his stomach, pains in chest. When he was ill with flu, Dr said his BP was involved. "This didn't worry me much". Feels lack of confidence. Sleep was affected initially; better now. Lives in a 1 room and kitchen house, he and his wife occupy the kitchen and an old man occupied the room. This is very dull for him though wife...

Architectural drawing (37cm x 57cm) by Percy Johnson-Marshall, undertaken whilst a fifth year student at the Liverpool School of Architecture, for a project entitled "a house for myself". There is one sheet encompassing layout plans, plans and an axonometric drawing . This is drawn in pencil with water-colour wash.
