These 16-pages of manuscript notes on book-binding have been bound together in a blue heavy-card/textile cover. The notes were handwritten in pencil then written over in ink. The notes are illustrated with pencil drawings. The notes were produced in September 1941.

Scope and Contents Four letters of Isaac Forsyth, bookseller in Elgin Letter sent by Isaac Forsyth to Patrick Duff, originally enclosing prospectus relating to a book by 'Dr Falconer of Forres', whom Forsyth describes as 'a gigantic geologist'. Scope and Contents The front of the volume contains 170 numbered pages titled 'Advices in law respecting ecclesiastical questions.' These are in the form of partially indexed letters written 15 August 1735 to 23 May 1746. The back of the volume contains a subject index to works by 17th century divines David Clarkson, John Flavel, William Gurnall and George Hopkins.
