Scope and Contents Marshall thanks Mrs Ewart for her letter and writes that he is glad to have been 'able to render this small service and to express my own feelings toward one for whom I had a deep regard and affection.' He is sure that [Ewart's grandson] 'Gavin will certainly not be ostracised in Cambridge' and that he will soon settle down into University life.
