The letter begins on f. 44r with the words Sanctissime ac Beatissime pater et domine. Post humilem filii commendationem et pedum oscula beatorum. Ecce pater beatissime quem tandem in locum et in quem statum res Italiae sive fato quodam sive quod magis affirmaverim hominum perversitate deducte fuerint. It ends on f. 45r with Datum in Castello novo neapolis xxi Junii 1482
