Scope and Contents
Story about the Lord of the Isles visiting Gordon Castle [Moireabh/Morayshire] in which the Duchess of Gordon sent him away, scolding him for visiting when her husband was not at home. When the Duke returned she told him that Alasdair Rua[dh] Buachaille nan Eileanan had called but she had sent him away. The Duke immediately went after him and brought him 'back in his care to the Duchess['s] confusion.'
