Commentarii in Somnium Scipionis [incomplete] by Macrobius , 12th century

This section of the manuscript is a version of Macrobius's philosophical treatise, Commentarii in Somnium Scipionis ('Commentary on the Dream of Scipio'). Cicero's 'Dream of Scipio' appears at the end of his De re publica, which was written around 50 BCE. Macrobius wrote his commentary in the early 5th century.
This section begins on f. 158r with the words Sic in phedrone inexpugnabilium luce rationum and ends on f. 179v with ego somno solutus. These last words have been added in a 13th-century hand.
The first part is Book 1, Chapter 5 of the Commentary. It ends on f.176r with ideo ei perceptionis gemine praecepta mandantur.
The second part begins begins on f.176r with the words Cum in Affricam venissem.
