Contains one text bound together with a collection of documents, in different hands.
f. 1r-27v: 'Provinciale' by William Lyndwood
f. 29r-32v: Copies of a document concerning forms of absolution of the 15th century
f. 30r also contains 12 lines of English and Latin verse and also a copy of a document dated at Stamford, 1481, concerning a Lincolnshire will.
The texts are described separately, under MS 149/ff. 1r-27v; MS 149/ff. 29r-32v.

Custodial History
An English manuscript, in a fair hand, but without any marks of ownership. In the 18th century it belonged to James Erskine, Lord Alva's library. It is included in a catalogue of his library, which now is contained in the University of Edinburgh's collection, as La.III.755.
