The text on ff. 136-191 of MS 147 features no title, and the hand is small, cramped, and difficult. The table of contents for MS 147, in the different by contemporary 15th century hand of John of Haghen, prior of the monastery at Erfurt, describes this text as 'Extracta ex lectura Jo. de Immola de sententiis in re judicata de Appellationibus et Confirmationibus'. Johannes Nicoletus of Imola was an important 14th-century Italian jurist and commentator on the canon law text, 'Decretales Gregorii IX'. During his career, Johannes was a lecturer in Pavia, Siena, and Bologna.

Writing

These folios are by several 15th-century hands, including that of John of Haghen, the 15th-century prior of the Carthusian monastery at Erfurt, Germany.
