This section of the manuscript contains a hagiographical text about Saint Katherine, a virgin martyr: Vita et Legenda Beate Katherine Virginis (The Life and Legend of Saint Katherine, Virgin).
This section starts on f.40v, but the prologue begins on f.42r. It is prefaced with Incipit prologus in vita Beata Katherine Virginis et Martyris. The text of the prologue itself starts on the same folio with the words Cum sanctorum forcia gesta and ends on f.42v with tane sumamus exordium. Explicit prologus.
The De Ortu Sancte Katherine virginis starts on f.42v with the words Erat quidam rex Costus nomine. It ends on f.47r with victimam immolatur qui est benedictus in sec.
The Legenda Beata Katherine starts on f.47r. It begins with the words Tradunt igitur annales hystorie. It ends on f.72v with et clades et aurorum universa. It is incomplete.
This section is written in the same hand as the previous section.
