Bound volume, containing catalogue of Gaelic publications, Late 19th century
Scope and Contents
Many of the pages are blank. Handwritten notes are distributed throughout the book, therefore there are gaps between notes. The notes form a catalogue of publications in Gaelic in the late 19th century, including information on publication titles, authors, and dates of publications. Publications include Gaelic literature, scriptures, psalters, and periodicals.
The earliest noted publication is Carswell's Prayer Book in 1567. The latest noted publications are in 1878, which includes Am Filidh Lathurnach by Calum Caimbeul.
Towards the rear of the book, there are notes with information on contents of some publications in Gaelic.
