A booklet written by R.D. Ryder titled, "A Scientist Speaks on the Extensive Use of Animals in Non-Medical Research", about animals being used in experiments for things such as household cleaners and make-up. It also details the use of animals in experimental psychology.

This is a transcript of an address given at the AGM of the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Vivisection, 24th May 1972. This booklet was reprinted, 1984.
