Correspondence and newspaper cuttings relating to an occasion where an anti-vivisectionist protested at the arrival of cats from London to Marischal College. Harvey Metcalfe, along with an inspector from the SSPCA, inspected the cats at Waverley Station due to concerns about their welfare when travelling. This folder contains a collection of newspaper cuttings relating to the inspection, and letters from the SSPV and various newspapers, animal welfare charities and Aberdeen University, 1962-1963.
