Scope and Contents

Pamphlets which were published by the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Vivisection and associated documentation which relate to disease cure and concerns around pasturisation.

1. Two leaflets for Kingston, A Garden of Health, a retreat dedicated to the modern nature cure in Edinburgh 2. "Is All Disease Curable?", by James C. Thompson, a pamphlet which argues for the nature cure rather than medical. This leaflet is accompanied by correspondence and notes from the SSPV about its publication 3. "Pasturised Milk; A National Menace", by James C. Thompson, again published by the SSPV with accompanying correspondence, 1943
