Custodial History
Provenance information according to the bookseller: "acquired from Berkelouw Rare Books (New South Wales) in August 2020 as part of a group of papers which had once belonged to Australian poet Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968). Mackellar was a wealthy and privileged writer of Scottish heritage who travelled widely, and it is conceivable that she actually acquired the typescript from Moffatt-Pender on a visit to the United Kingdom prior to 1927 (ie. before his translation was published) rather than after Moffatt-Pender’s arrival in Australia in 1932."
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Purchased in May 2026. Accession no. SC-Acc-2026-0074.
