"Daignosis: Anxiety state with depressive features. "This man was invalided from the navy on psychiatric grounds. He has continued to have symptoms, complaining particularly of depression, lack of concentration with allied inability to spell, and irritability and fear of his own aggression. Various deep seated grievances against the service and other traumatic material were thoroughly ventilated and explanation and reassurance given. He appeared relieved to some extent."

Has been seen by several specialists who say there is no reason for it. Also complains of terrific pains 1-2 days after intercourse. Is refusing to live with her husband who is threatening divorce proceedings. House fairly clean. No children, one miscarriage."

Nurse confirms - goes about with a walking stick."
