Scope and Contents This series contains approximately 60 black-and-white family photographs, dating from the 1850s up to the 1950s. The provenance is not clear and the pictures have no caption, however many of them appear to be related to Arthur Patrick Logan Turner (1914-1998), one of William Aldren Turner's sons, and to Hilda Turner.Approximaltely 40 photographs date from the Second World War, and show service men in uniform and ATS members, as well as some landscapes. A leaflet aimed at children to spead awareness of the welfare of animals such as donkeys, dogs, and cats during the holiday season. The leaflet is written from the viewpoint of a seaside donkey. The title is "Junior Division Talks No.4, Holidays", and the leaflet was published by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
