Folio book containing the letters and papers of Thomas Forrester (c.1635-1706), Principal of St Mary’s College, St Andrews.

The majority of text is in a very neat italic hand showing secretary features. Both the front and back fly leaves have ownership marks and pen trials, as well as former shelfmark L.S.I-3-9. A letter regarding the volume's donation to the Church of Scotland Library on the 30 June 1842 is loosely inserted between the front flyleaves.
