Lord Dowding on Vivisection, 1952
A pamphlet containing the contents of a speech delivered by Air Chief Marshall Lord Dowding in the House of Lords, Tuesday, 14th October 1952. This pamphlet was published by the SSPV.
The contents of the speech concern the welfare of animals used for animal testing and vivisection, and gives examples of the violence used on animals for science.
Lord Dowding Speaks About Animals, 1957
A pamphlet containing a transcript of a speech given by Air Chief Marshal Lord Dowding, in the House of Lords, Thursday, 18th July, 1957. The content of the speech is about the use of animals in experiments, descriptions of the experiments, and statistics detailing the number of animals killed.
This is the 1977 republished edition. It was eventually withdrawn 9th February 1983

"Lost "Ben", a Plea for the Helpless", is a poem by C. Brewster Macpherson about a family dog being taken by vivisectors. the poem was published in London by Arthur H. Stockwell, 29, Ludgate Hill.

A booklet published by the Humanitarian League of Rochester, New York, titled, "Manual on Vivisection, a moral and practival question, discussed with reference to science and ethics." Complied by Patricia Raymond Dunstan.
The booklet contains chapter on the moral and practical questions relating to vivisection, examples of experiments, statements from physicians, surgeons and clergy.
