The pamphlet contains opinions of people working in the medical field who oppose the use of dogs in animal experimentation.

"Speciesism: The Ethics of Vivisection", is based on a paper, read at a meeting of medical students of the London Medical Group, 5th November 1974, by author and animal rights advocate Richard D. Ryder.

The pamphlet discusses issues around the pain inflicted on animals and why animals are used for experiments.

This pamphlet was withdrawn from publication April 1990
