The book captures the name of the dog, the name of the human who paid the subscription, address, the amount paid, and remarks (such as whether or not the subscribers are members of the SSPV)

The front of the book contains the subscription details of those who were in the Scottish Tail Waggers Club between the dates of 1945-1960

At the rear of the book are details of those who left legacies to the animal charity from 1957-1999. The details include the name of the person who left a legacy, their address, the name of their solicitor, and how much was left.

The volume contains details of the date, the name of the dog and owner, subscription paid, and a running total. The information reduces to the name of the dog and a reference number after 1935.

A publication by M. Beddow Bayly, published by the SSPV under the title "Tetanus Toxoid and Other Mass Immunisations". It is a reprint from an article published in Animals' Defender, September, 1958. The contents include arguments against mass immunisation for various diseases and the impact they have on vivisection.

A pamphlet about the use of animals when testing vaccinations titled "That "Pin-Prick" Experiment; how the public is hoodwinked".

This leaflet was issued by the Animal Defence and Anti-Vivisection Society.

An article titled, The 720 Cats, reprinted from The Medical Review, September 1957 for the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Vivisection. The article is about the trade in cats for experimentation.

"The Abolition of Vivisection; a guide for workers by one of them", is a pamphlet directed towards workers urging them to organise against vivisection.

A copy of "The Abolitionist", from the British Union for Abolition of Vivisection. The Abolitionist was a newsletter about the work of the society and stories about rescued animals.

"The Alternative to Vivisection" was a pamphlet written by M Beddow Bayley, which contains quotations from medical professionals stating their opinion on the lack of use for vivisection in the medical field.

The pamphlet was first published by the SSPV in 1960 and withdrawn May, 1969.

The American Anti-Vivisection Society - formerly the American Society for the Restriction of Vivisection - Forty-Eighth Annual Report, 1930, Philadelphia.

The report contains details of the organisation's charter, board of managers, report, statement of funds, and membership lists.
