All Honourable Men, 1957
"All Honourable Men", is a response to the formation of the "Animal Welfare Unit", in the US which advocates for better treatment of experimental animals and avoidance of "unnecessary suffering". M Beddow Bayly, who wrote the pamphlet, believes there sould be a complete ban on animal experimentation.
The pamphlet has been reprinted by the SSPV from an article in the Anti-Vivisection News, May, 1955. It was withdrawn from print April 1975.

A copy of the words and music notation for "All Things Bright and Beautiful", stamped by the Animal Defence Society. The cover has an image of a child, Mairi, with the dates 1914-1927 below and contains a number of illustrations of animals.

"Alternatives to Vivisection", written by Colin Smith, offers suggestions for alternatives to animal testing and vivisection in the field of medicine. Smith argues that although vivisection has helped our understanding of medicine in the past, there are plenty of alternatives to animal testing.

The leaflet was withdrawn in 1969 due to six words missing from the document.
