The song is composed of twenty-four lines. An accompanying note reads 'This was heard in Creaga Gorma Hea'aval Barra [Heabhal/Heaval, Barraigh/Isle of Barra] while she was grinding the quern.' Song has been scored through in ink as if transcribed elsewhere.
