Story about how Iain Muideartach's [Iain Mùideartach or John MacDonald of Clanranald] gave fishing rights of Auin t-Eile up to Lochseille [Abhainn Seile/River Shiel and Loch Seile/Loch Shiel, Earra Ghàidheal/Argyllshire] and in exchange for a deerhound. The deerhound was exceptional being '3½ f[ee]t high & 1½ deep in chest', it ate a whole stirk one night and it also 'chased a stag came up to it at Auin Dheidain [Abhainn Dhèabh] struck it in the hind leg with his tale (sic) & broke...
