Story about Cu'ai and Ni[ghean] Ri[gh] Lochlann telling how they were married to one another and lived at Dun-Crannaig (Sgeirval) [Dùn Crannag or Dùn Sgùrabhal, Barraigh/Isle of Barra] and how Nighean Rìgh Lochlann went to see her father in Norway and on her return Cu'ai went to meet her and scolded her for being away so long. An explanatory note states 'Cu'ai the husband (Clann na h-Ialain = Ohenleys)'.

The story tells how Dearg, a Fenian warrior, has two children a strong, handsome son and a beautiful girl. He encounters a young woman and asks her if she will marry his son. She reluctantly agrees but when she sees how big and strong he is and realises that he has still to grow and will become bigger and stronger she is afraid and runs...

Story about how Loch Awe was created probably collected from Duncan MacNiven, retired schoolmaster, Airds, Earra Ghàidheal/Argyllshire. The story tells how [Bera] went away on a visit and having 'stayed too long' discovered on her return that 'the lid of the well was off + Loch Awe the result'. She then sang a song beginning 'A sniomh mo chuigeil'. Text has been scored through as if transcribed elsewhere.

Story about Raghnall Sgamadail 'Raol Scamadail' [Ronald [MacDonald]] from Moidart [Mùideart, Siorramachd Inbhir Nis/Inverness-shire] in which a woman knocked on the door of his bothy and asked for him by name 'Raoil Mòr'. He asked where she was from and she said that she had travelled for sixty miles and so he invited her in to eat but she 'went off when she heard she had to bless -'.
