A pictorial leaflet showing the traffic industry in laboratory dogs. The photograph shows the living conditions of the dogs and them being rescued from the laboratory. The verso of the leaflet is an invitation to join the SSPV, listing A.C.T. Nisbet and Chairman, and Harvey Metcafe as Secretary.

The Shipment of Horses for Butchery Abroad, 1924
A pamphlet published by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and distributed by the Scottish division, titled "The Shipment of Horses for Butchery Abroad", by A.M.F. Cole. The pamphlet highlights continued animal abuse of horses documented on voyages to the continent for butchery.

The Surgery of Mitral Stenosis, 1961
This pamphlet "The Surgery of Mirtal Stenosis", by M Beddow Bayly accompanies his previous publication "Blue-Babies and Heart Surgery". Both regard the use of operations on dogs used to develop treatment for heart defects.
