Note about Feill Churalain [Fèill Churalain/St Cyril's Festival] collected from John Livingstone 'Muillear Mòr', Portnacroish, Appin [Port na Crois, Apainn, Earra Ghàidheal/Argyllshire] aged 73, that it was held at Sgeir a' Phobuill, that the girls of Glencreran would have 'babagan beithe' (tassles of birch) and that it was held on 16 March 'Cuiralain an diugh us Pàdruig am màireach' ('Curalan today and Patrick tomorrow'). Also notes that St Cyril's Church was built of clay.

Note about seals on Haisgeir [Theisgeir/Heisker] including their dispersal to various places in Uist [Uibhist] and the preparation of 'Cuilein Micheil' [roast seal] on Michaelmas night. Text has been scored through and a note reads 'Transcribed into No I p.181 Creagory [Creag Ghoraidh/Creagorry, Uibhist a Tuath/North Uist] 7 October 1875'.

Note entitled 'S[aint] Brendan' with a verse about Saint Brendan beginning 'Chuirear Bruanain Domhal Dubh, Is faid an la n diugh nan de' and a note that Saint Moluag was a disciple of Brendan's, that Lugadius and Moluc are alternatives for Moluag, that St Moluag's Day is 25 June, that he died in 592 AD and that Moluag founded 'Mortlach Muirthilleauch in the vale of the Fiddich' [Mòrthlach/Mortlach and Gleann Fhiodhaich/Glen Fiddich, both Siorrachd Bhanbh/Banffshire].
