Content Description
A bronze and a silver medals in their cases awarded to Peter Haugh in the University's Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies for Zoology and Botany (1903-1904) and for Clinique (1906-1907); and three bronze medals from Edinburgh University awarded to Samuel M. Inkster for Chemistry (1869), General Pathology and Morbid Anatomy (1870-1871) and Practice of Medicine (1872-1873). Also includes an article by Gregor Macaulay explaining the medals.

Content Description
This fonds consists of the student archive of Frederick (Fred) Hugh McMillen, created when he was a student at the Royal (Dick) Veterinary College from 1938 to 1943. It includes class notes, examination questions, Fred's diploma and certificates, a photograph of the wartime hockey team of which he was the captain, and three crest shields (RDVC, RAVC, RCVS).

Scope and Contents
Two large black-and-white photographs showing students of the Royal (Dick) Veterinary College, dated July 1896 and May 1897. The students' names are not given. Both groups are posing in front of William Dick's statue in the courtyard of the Clyde Street Building, which was used by the College from 1829 to 1916. The 1897 group includes a horse.
