File of papers relating to London County Council Comprehensive Development Area no 4: Tower of London Precinct. The file contains a planning brochure for the planned precinct, a layout plan by the Corporation of London City Planning Office overdrawn on an Ordnance Survey plan at 1:1250 scale (possibly reduced in size), and some typescript notes concerning the area.

2 copy plans (52cm x 77cm) by the Reconstruction Areas Group of the Town Planning Division of London County Council's Architect's Department, showing the hotel which formed part of the plans for the South Bank Permanent Development in London. There is a first floor plan for hotel at 32' to 1" scale. There is also a sheet of small scale alternative layout plans for bedroom blocks at the hotel, laid out on one sheet for comparative purposes.
