Scope and Contents

File of preparation notes, papers and photographs relating to exhibitions which the Town Planning Division of London County Council's Architect's department either organised or participated in. Exhibitions include:
  1. "Stepney Housing Progress" by the Metropolitan Borough of Stepney, 13-30 April 1959
  2. "Construction and Reconstruction of Towns, 1945-1957" at the International Union of Architects Moscow Congress, 20-28 July 1958
  3. "The Second International Building and Public Works Exhibition", France
  4. an exhibition at the Building Centre in London, 1956
  5. International Federation for Housing and Town Planning Conference at Lisbon, September 1952

There is also some a typescript paper by Sir Robert Hogg Matthew for the International Federation for Housing and Town Planning Conference in Lisbon, September 1952 and some preparatory material for this.
