Scope and Contents
Press pack produced by the Greater London Council for the opening of the South Bank Arts Centre in London, which was created as part of London County Council Comprehensive Development Area no 4: South Bank. The Arts Centre, part of the South Bank Permanent Development, incorporated arts organisations such as the Royal Festival Hall, the National Film Theatre and the Hayward Gallery. The press pack includes glossy information leaflets on the buildings' design and construction, press releases and 3 black and white photographic prints (17cm x 25cm), 2 of interiors and 1 of an exterior.
