"This woman has bouts of hysteria - has had them since childhood. Dr thinks it has something to do with sex. She had an illegitimate child when her husband was in the army; it was killed by a lorry when about 3 years old - she had a very bad hysterical attack for about 2 weeks; now all right. House practically a slum but clean. Family relationships harmonious - the matter of the illegitimate child has been overlooked."

"This lad has an O.T. score of 19 in the navy selection test. He was then a Bevan boy, down the mine. Was not bright at school but is very shrewd where money is concerned. No flies on him but bone lazy. R.C. Minister says this boy is pleasant, normal, looks older than he is. Dr confirms - he had an accident some years ago, was concussed, kept complaining of fainting fits afterwards. Probably hysterical continuation to avoid working in the mines."
