These papers give details of the patient and case, including: name, age, sex, marital status, religion, occupation and address; place where found and examined; length of time unwell; whether first attack or not; whether suicidal; and whether the patient is dangerous to others. Includes details of the patients nearest relative.

Hospital registers including: Asylum Registers; Register of Voluntary Patients; Registers of Informal Patients; Register of Chronic Cases; Registers of Female Patients; Register of Male Patients; and Patients Book.

Details given in these registers include: Patient's name and number; date of admission and discharge.

Admissions regsiters for convalescent home

Sheets torn from a notebook with a list of Patients, giving their names, age, address and GP written in pencil. Some entries have been initialled by Dr Elizabeth Robertson.

Each register entry includes the date of admission, the name of the patient, sex, age, whether pauper or private, place of abode, bodily condition, form of mental disorder and date of discharge. Not indexed.

These volumes record registration number, parent hospital, ward, date of admission,patient’s name, age, religion, address, diagnosis, referred by whom, date of discharge and where discharged to (either back to parent hospital or home). Acc 04/26.

These registers are for Muirfield House and provide the patients number in the hospital register, sex, age, name of patient, address, occupation of parent, date of admission, ward number, disease or operation required, date of removal to Muirfield, date of discharge and number of days at Muirfield.
