Photographic reproduction of Coll-1167/A/6/12. Typed label attached to mount reads "C.R.9 12 Vienna 1857 From the Cities Exhibition." Additional red lable reads "VIENNA". Additional text reads "The shaded blocks show the buildings erected on the glacis after 1857, the dotted parts are the inner and outer towns which existed before 1857. Public buildings are shown black". This was an original exhibit in Geddes' 1917 Cities and Town Planning Exhibition.

Reproduction of a plan of Vienna in 1832, originally published by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge in 1833, (as were items in Coll-1167/A/5/15 - Harbour Towns). Hand coloured, with river coloured blue and glacis green. A glacis is a bank sloping down from a fort which exposes attackers to defenders' missiles. Text on the physical item reads "Note the two rings of fortification with the inner girdled by gardens."

Reproduction, cut from a publication, of a plan of the Ringstrasse and inner town of Vienna, showing buildings erected on the glacis of the inner ring of Fortifications after 1857. Text reads "These erstwhile fortifications provided a site for the Ringstrasse, now the leading street in Vienna: affording sites for all the main public buildings." Pencil notes on mount, "enlarge to 10 x 9" and "30" in red pencil (see Coll-1167/A/7/35). No date given and unattributed.
