Scope and Contents Includes: notes and data relating to rabbit sex control experiments; two handwritten drafts of lectures, 'Sex Ratio Control - what are the prospects?' (noted 'BCBC 13 Jan 1981 Cambridge') and 'The Perplexing History of Attempts to Control the Mammalian Sex Ratio' (marked 'Newcastle 14/10/82'); various article reprints by Beatty, Anne McLaren and Douglas Falconer and a typed first draft of 'An attempt to influence the sex-ratio in rabbits using immunological methods' by Beatty.
Scope and Contents Cockerell states that he wishes he could conduct experiments on horses in New Mexico as the conditions are very favourable. He mentions that Wilfred Blunt is also of the opinion that the native American horse may have lived to Columbian times. At present he is looking for mixed blood in the skulls of American horses. He points out that the old horses of Europe also had large heads. He also adds that he has found a copy of an aboriginal pictograph representing a man on a horse.
