Song entitled 'Tighearn[a] Og Lochabuidhe' beginning 'Chi mi dol seachad, Air each 's e na leum'. The song is composed of thirty-two lines arranged as twelve verses of couplets and it appears that the chorus is given twice with the main difference being in the vocables. Carmichael notes 'Probably by the wife of [-] Macleod of Rararsay [Ratharsaidh/Raasay] who had been his dairymaid. She made an excellent wife.'

Song entitled 'Tuireadh Bais' beginning 'Thus dol dhachaidh an nochd dha do thaigh geamhraidh, Dha do thaigh foghair is earraich is samhraidh' and accompanying note which reads 'Tuirim bhais nam mnathan tuirim over the dying and the dead'. The song is composed of twenty-seven lines, arranged into eights stanzas of either four or two lines and the text has been annotated in ink.

The text contains some amendments and has been scored through in ink with 'B[ook] [-] P[age] [-] Trans[cribed] June 16 1869 A[lexander] A[rchibald] C[armichael]' written transversely across it.

Song toasting Dr Nicol, probably collected from Catherine MacIntosh, pauper, Stadhlaigearraidh/Stilligarry, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist beginning 'Thaining thug[ainn] [dh]an tir, Tra[gh]ai[dh] sinn uile a ghlain[n]e.' The song is composed of forty-two lines. Carmichael has mistakenly described the toast as a 'droch slaint' instead of a 'deoch-slàinte'.
