This is an apparently unrecorded mid-19th-century broadside ballad celebrating the talents of Swedish opera singer Jenny Lind (1820-1887). A contemporary manuscript note indicates that the broadside was published in Perth in September 1847.

Scope and Contents This is a manuscript ballad notebook dating from approximately 1710, containing "The Scot Litany", "You comans and pears", "The New Way of ye Lass of Pegges Mill", "The Last I Came O’er the Muir", and "Lord Randal". Content Description This important bound volume with ms transcript of Scottish ballads had been in the ownership of Mr. Hilary Corke, a Lecturer at Edinburgh University, 1951-1955. It is one of two ms volumes known as the Harris Repertoire. Corke had 're-discovered' it in 1955.
