The contents include invitations to Animals' Welfare Week, articles relating to the Dog's Bazaar, and articles on vivisection which date between 1927-1937.

Throughout the volume, there are a great many inserts and not all are attached securely to the paper so care must be taken when consulting this item.

Handwritten notes, written on headed paper belonging to The Council of Justice to Animals, of which Netta Ivory was secretary. The notes state the contents of a proposed Bill to support animal welfare in slaughter houses with suggestions such as the stunning of animals before being bled, and workers being qualified to handle electronic equipment to reduce suffering.
